Pool Season

Memorial Day–Labor Day (weather permitting)

Regular Pool Hours

Monday–Saturday at 1:00–7:30pm (Supper break from 5:00-6:00pm)
Sunday at 1:00–4:30pm

Lap Swimming

Monday–Friday at 6:00am – 7:00am and 11:30am – 1:00pm

Pool Closings

Pool supervisors will close the pool in case of the following:

  • Lightning or threatening weather
  • Water temp being too low
  • Bodily fluids spilled into the pool
  • A low number of patrons at the pool
  • Early closings will also be mentioned on the Orange City Public Swimming Pool Facebook page

In case of a pool closing for any reason, there will be a message left on the swimming pool phone 712-707-2500

Admission

Youth (1–18) $ 4.00
Adult (19+) $ 5.00
Sr. Citizen (55+) $ 4.00

After 6:00pm (all swimmers) $ 3.00

*These fees will not be waived for any reason.

Passes are good for both the Orange City and Alton pools.

Pool Season Pass*

Family Pass (Alton & Orange City Pools) – $140.00
Single Pass (Alton & Orange City Pools) – $80.00
Youth/Senior (Alton & Orange City Pools) – $70.00
Babysitter Pass (added to Family Pass) – $25.00

*These fees will not be waived for any reason.

Group must consist of 15 or more people. $2.50 per youth, $3.50 per adult.

Pool Rules

Pool rules will be observed by everyone in order to maintain a safe swimming environment. These rules can be found in each restroom and posted on the guardhouse walls. Please make sure you and your child are aware of these rules before entering the pool area.

If your child is not tall enough to be on the slide or on the diving boards, they will be allowed to complete a swim test and receive a wristband to wear at the pool for the summer. Ask a manager, supervisor, or lifeguard for details.

Orange City Aquatic Facility’s water is regulated between 78°–82°
