Donor “perks” for Orange City Arts Council donors

ORANGE CITY – The Orange City Arts Council will be conducting its 2013-2014 fundraising phone-a-thon in January, and appreciates your support.

Donations are essential to keep the arts alive and growing in the area. Each year, the Orange City Arts Council receives 36 to 46% of its budget from donors from the community.

This year, the Council is offering donor perks to new members who donate $30 or more and members who donate $100. New members who donate $30 or more may choose between a beautiful canvas tote bag or the latest Bella Ruse CD, Those Were Good Times, Weren’t They?

Those who contribute $100 or more will receive complimentary tickets to select OC Arts Council events, plus a gift card providing discounts on original art by local artists.

Several local artists are offering discounts on the purchase of original art – watercolor, fiber art, collage, ceramics, stained glass and more – to those who donate $100 or more. With your donation, you’ll receive a gift card offering discounts of 10 to 25 percent, from the following artists: Jo Alberda, Gerry Punt, Julie Punt, Rola Sowienski, Judy Thompson, Margo Vanderhill and Rein Vanderhill.

To donate, please send your contribution to Orange City Arts Council, PO Box 202, Orange City IA 51041, or drop a check to Orange City Arts Council in the city hall mail slot.

Thanks for your support from the Orange City Arts Council’s board members: Phyllis Van Gelder, Mark Volkers, Angela Kroeze Visser, Sandie Vant Hof, Becky Donahue, Susan Le Mahieu, Gail Marincovich, Jennifer Sabo, Jim Schaap, Kimberly Seligman, Richard Sowienski, and Emily Stokes, and from the Arts Council director Janine Calsbeek.
