Our World at Your Fingertips

Did you Know?

The Orange City Public Library was founded in 1915 as one of the first projects of the Orange City Women’s Club.  In order to finance the project, the women’s club had a membership fee of 50 cents per family, held tag day sales, collected from house to house and operated a novelty stand at the Fourth of July Celebration.

Where We’re Headed…

Orange City Public Library is enriching a vibrant community by providing a comfortable space for the community to discover their roots, express creativity, and celebrate diversity through literacy, information, and technology.

Programs for All Ages

The Orange City Public Library offers a wide variety of programming for all ages. Story times have grown to include sensory activities for toddlers and lapsit programs for infants. School aged children may attend our afterschool program and special events. Teens can get involved in our Teen Advisory Board and get creative at our Teen Writing Club. Technology classes and monthly special programs are available for adults. Get involved and learn something new at the library.
