In honor of the 100 years of service to the Orange City community, and all the work provided by its staff and board, the Orange City Public Library will be hosting a Centennial Celebration reception on December 5th at 6:30 in the evening.
All current and former library staff and board members are invited to join us at the library for refreshments and the opportunity to reminisce with other library workers.
Please RSVP to this event by emailing the library director, Sue Kroesche, at firstname.lastname@example.org or with the button below.
We invite you to send photos or stories to share, whether or not you are able to attend.
It’s hard to believe that our Centennial year is nearly at an end! But we are looking forward to a final celebration with all the current and former library staff/board members. This will be the perfect opportunity for us to say ‘Thank You!’ to all who have made the library what it is today! What fun it will be to share memories of this wonderful institution-the Orange City Library!
When I think of the Orange City Public Library being 100 years old this year, it is incredible to realize how many people have benefitted from its services. Children, teens, and adults from all walks of life and entered its doors and used resources as diverse as archived newspapers to computer games, encyclopedias to e-books, and everything in-between. Our library has changed over the last century, but we celebrate it as a community asset for all and look forward to how it will continue to meet the needs of patrons in the future.
