2014-2015 Programs

ADULT PROGRAMS

Book Club

All adults are invited to join a book club with our director, Sue Kroesche, beginning January of 2015. Register at the library or call 707-4302.

In honor of the Orange City Library Centennial Celebration, we will be hosting a monthly book club that will focus on 10 decades of books. We’ll read a book each from 10 decades of the 20th Century and one from the 21st. Come enjoy a journey through the decades in our books.

Monthly Programs

Enjoy the performances of professionals or learn a new hobby from a local community member. Each month the library will feature new program just for adults. Look to our calendar for more information!

KID PROGRAMS

1000 Books before Kindergarten

New this fall! One of the best things you can do for your child is instill in them a love for reading. Why not give your child a concrete goal to reach in the process – read 1,000 books before kindergarten! Sign up at the library (any time after 9/8/14) and receive a special 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten bag with instructions, book logs, and reading lists. Each spring the library will also host a graduation ceremony for kids that complete the program. You can get started at any time with this great, ongoing program!
