It’s the Orange City version of Dancing with the Stars, but don’t be sidetracked by “klompen.” No wooden shoes will be allowed. The March 21 event features six local pros and six local “celebrities,” willing to shimmy and shake in front of an audience, to raise funds for the arts. It’s a competition, of course, with the grand prize winner chosen by judges and audience members, but it is also a fundraiser for the Arts Council: for a new mural in downtown Orange City, to help fund the summer shows in the park—Onstage Orange City, and to bring a professional ballet company presenting The Nutcracker. Additional funds will help fund other Orange City Arts Council projects. Advance tickets: $12 adult, $5 student. At the door: $14, $7.
