“The Suckow Story”| Jim Schaap
These days Schaap spends his time touting the writing of Ruth Suckow, an early 20th century author whose work features rural Iowa. After an introduction about Suckow, DAHM board members will perform a reader’s theater based on her entertaining short story, “A Great Mollie.” Mollie, an eccentric character, is as strong as a man and can even fix her own car!
