THEODORE ROOSEVELT’S DUTCH-AMERICAN DILEMMA

Theodore Roosevelt’s Dutch ancestry and heritage informed his work as New York City Police Commissioner and his diplomatic maneuvering surrounding South Africa’s Boer War. It also posed problems for the nation’s most vocal opponent of “hyphenated Americans.”

 

Presentation is held at the museum at 6:30pm. Seating is limited.
