Watercolor artist Judy Thompson will offer an Artist Talk at the Orange City Public Library on April 7th at 6:30 pm. Thompson will discuss the inspiration for her Homestead Series and Silver Lake Reflections, which are on display at the library through the month of April.
Judy’s artist talks and presentations describe the inspiration, history and artistic process behind the creation of the Homestead series. Learn about her experiences as an artist in residence at two national parks and how, through her research, was inspired by the unique stories of homesteaders. Judy will share with you her love of the prairie and her love of watercolor. This program is free to the public.
