Game On!
- Youth Game Time: 6th-12 Graders, join us in learning and playing the board game Pandemic. October 1, 4-5:30pm. Kindergarten-5th Grade are invited to join us for board games on October 29, 4-5 pm.
- Adult Scrabble Game Night: Everyone loves a good game of Scrabble. Bring a friend or make a friend, the library has the game and snacks! October 1, 6-7:30pm.
- Zombie Break-Out Box: Brave souls in 5th-12th grade are invited to come stop the Zombie apocalypse! Enter the zombie-infested laboratory of mad scientist Dr. Grimm and follow his clues to find the zombie antidote before it’s too late! You definitely want to register for this break-out box event! October 15, 4-5:30 pm.
- Minecraft Challenge: Grades 3-8 students are invited to collaborate on a special Minecraft building challenge at the library. Be sure to sign up for this event on October 18, 2-4 pm.
Events to Delight and Inspire the Youngest Ones
- Movin’ & Groovin’ Sensory Play and Story Time: Every Wednesday in October, 9:30-10 am.
- Preschool Story Time: Every Thursday in October, 9:30-10:30 am.
- Art Class: A fun and educating art class on October 15. Sign up your 3 year old for the 9:30-10 am class and 4-5 year olds for 10-10:30 am.
Lego Club: Build, Create, and Innovate:
Calling all young builders and future architects, Kindergarten-4th Grade. Our Lego Challenges are the perfect opportunity to use your imagination and engineering skills. October 4, 11, and 25.
Special Memoir Writing Class:
For those looking to capture their life stories and experiences, our special memoir writing class is an excellent opportunity. Led by Gail, staff member and former English teacher, this class will guide you through the process of writing your own memoir. Gain tips, techniques, and inspiration to start crafting your personal narrative. October 14-18, 9:30-11 am, with a special writing celebration on October 23.
