2025 Regional Art Show Reception

The 2025 Regional Art Exhibition, presented by Orange City Arts, will showcase 34 works by 29 talented artists from Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota. The exhibit will run from April 5 to May 3, 2025, at the NWC DeWitt Theatre Arts Building, located at 721 Albany Ave SE, Orange City, IA.

This year’s optional show theme, “Stewards of Creation,” encourages artists to reflect on themes of responsibility, care, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world, aligning with the themes explored in Northwestern College Theatre’s production of An Enemy of the People.

This free-to-attend exhibit invites the public to explore a variety of artistic styles and mediums. Cash prizes will be awarded to “Best in Show” and “Honorable Mention” recipients at a closing reception on May 3, 2025, at 6:30 pm, where show winners will be announced by jurors Amy Williams (Art Professor at NWC) and Roberta Pottebaum (MOC FV teacher and artist).
Exhibit viewing hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The Regional Art Exhibition runs in conjunction with Northwestern College Theatre’s production of An Enemy of the People. Tickets for the play can be purchased through the NWC Box Office online or by calling 712-707-7096.
