Orange City Summer Recreation Wraps Up a Great 2025 Season
Orange City Summer Recreation programs saw another exciting and active season this year, with over 775 kids participating in a variety of activities. From baseball and softball to blastball and swimming, our programs were full of energy and growth!
To make it all happen, there was an incredible team of nearly 35 paid coaches and program leaders, close to 50 volunteer coaches, and 30 lifeguards who kept the pool safe and fun all summer long.
“We had a great summer of recreation and fun! I want to extend a huge thank you to all our volunteer coaches who helped coach and lead various programs and teams. Without their help, summer recreation would not be possible!” said Noah Minnick, Park and Recreation Director.
As we wind down the season, the last day for the swimming pool is Labor Day, and all are welcome to join us for the annual Dog Swim on September 2! Thanks for another vibrant summer, Orange City!
