Veterans Memorial Improvements

The American Legion Post improved the lighting and landscaping around the Veterans Memorial. This request for $20,000 was approved, and the work was completed in late August.

“Pressman-Kosters American Legion Post #329 has been blown away by the support of the GrowOC (Community Betterment) Board. We weren’t sure where we would get our funding, or if we would need to fundraise, but after sitting with the board members, they were just as excited as we were about being able to serve our community and military veterans with this project. New landscaping, retaining walls, privacy screens, and trees have helped set our Orange City Veterans Memorial apart. It was a blessing that we could move forward to enjoy the beautiful changes. We are so thankful to them for helping fund this project!”
