Recent Project Updates

As the summer progresses, we’re excited to share updates on some of our highly anticipated City projects. Two major initiatives are the paving of the City Hall parking lot and the commencement of work on Delaware and 2nd Street.

The City Hall parking lot project is moving along swiftly. Once completed, it will allow for additional accessible parking spots along Central Avenue by eliminating the entrance to the parking lot from Central. While the lot will remain open to the public, it will primarily serve City, County, Library, and adjacent business vehicles.

Additionally, work has kicked off for the Delaware and 2nd Street projects. This will continue for the months ahead while working to keep access open for adjacent property owners. This project will also include some needed utility work in the area.
