Learn classic folding, twisting, and binding techniques to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind designs. Perfect for all ages and skill levels, this hands-on workshop provides all the materials you need to make your own unique work of art. Come ready to get messy and take home a masterpiece!

Supplies Provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
Youth Theater Workshop – High School Musical Jr: July 23-30, 2025
9:00 am – 12 noon & 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical comes to life on your stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR. Now updated to the convenient binder version! Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.
Designed for students at all levels of theatre experience, campers will audition, rehearse, and perform a musical in one week!
A public performance is held on Wednesday, July 30 at 7 PM at OnStage.

Drumming Workshop with Omaha Street Percussion – Drumming Workshop: June 25, 2025
6:00 – 6:30 pm
Omaha Street Percussion will lead a mini-lesson on drumming and teach the skills to start playing music in this fun and creative way! Participants will use the same items performed by OSP, including buckets, trash cans, pots/pans, and many other recycled items. Parents must be present for younger children.

Digital Photography Workshop – Photography Basics with artist Jerry Mennenga: June 28
Time: 9 am – 12 noon
Come learn more tips and tricks of digital photography with Siouxland artist Jerry Mennega!
Jerry will cover the basics of photography using a digital camera (no phone photography), including composition and lighting. Students will then take a series of photographs and share them with the group.
For Ages: 16 and up
Cost: $25

Time: 9 am to 12 noon
Supplies: Must have your own digital camera equipment (no phones) and a clean SD memory card.
Youth Art Show Showcase- Call for Art – Orange City Arts Youth Art Showcase: July 28 – Aug 20
Stadscentrum, downtown Orange City
Orange City Arts Youth Art Showcase is an opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work from July 28 – Aug 20, at the Stadscentrum Building in downtown Orange City IA. Local artists between the ages of 6 to 17 years old, are invited to submit work to the juried exhibition. Prizes will be awarded to ‘Best In Show’ and ‘Honorable Mention’ in each age category.
