Calling all young sculptors! In this class, students will learn the core techniques involved in creating beautiful and original ceramic art pieces. It will involve slab building, sculpting, glazing, and even the basics of the potter’s wheel. Classes meet Monday-Wednesday-Friday mornings from July 8-19.

Grades 2-4: 9:00-10:00am, $35
Grades 5-8: 10:30-noon, $45

Instructor: Breann White, a full-time teaching artist and grade school art teacher from Lester, SD.

Class size limited to 12. Wear old clothes! Enter through the Northwest student entrance. If your student will miss a day of class, be sure to inform the instructor so she can make arrangements for firing each project.
