We are Rachel and Kelly Brunsting, owners of We Rock the Spectrum ~ Orange City. Five years ago, we began our journey with Autism. Our son, Kyan, then 4, was struggling with many issues for which we were frustrated to find no solutions. From the start, our goal has been to do whatever it takes to help him be successful. We have wandered countless visits to lots of professionals, trying to put the whole puzzle together.

We traveled here and there, many times spending more time in the waiting room or on the road than at the visit. We love our small town life, from knowing our kids are safe riding their bikes around town to knowing everyone in our church. However, living in a rural area has also brought us many challenges, from lack of services to lack of awareness. This need sparked an idea for us to have a place for our children to safely burn energy, where they could be accepted as they are. I searched high and low for safe sources and found myself led to the website for We Rock the Spectrum. I have a passion and tender heart for kids. It is my dream to provide a service to help children meet their potential, and I feel that with We Rock the Spectrum we can accomplish that.

In Faith, we began the construction on a gym for all kids in May 2016. We saw a great need that we felt led to fill, and we are confident that it will be beneficial not only for the children in our community, but families as a whole. By implementing and using a variety of therapies and services within our gym, it is our vision to provide our community with a place where all kiddos can go to play, learn, grow, and strive regardless of their abilities.
